A Study on Designers' Intention to Use Generative AI for Human-Machine Collaborative Design — Based on the Integrated Model of TAM and TTF

Abstract

The application of generative artificial intelligence in human-machine collaborative design is gradually deepening, but designers' usage intention and its influence mechanism remain to be explored. Relevant hypotheses are proposed on the basis of integrating the TAM and TTF models, followed by an empirical analysis through questionnaire surveys. The results show that perceived ease of use has a significant positive impact on perceived usefulness and satisfaction, and perceived usefulness further improves satisfaction; both task characteristics and technology characteristics positively affect task-technology fit; both satisfaction and task-technology fit exert a significant positive impact on usage intention.
