Abstract

Korean film and television culture has shaped a distinct and three-dimensional national image for South Korea in global communication. Its uniqueness lies not only in the successful export of film and television cultural products, but also in the high interaction between political power and popular culture, which embeds political discourse into everyday entertainment. Starting from the national narrative strategies of Korean films and television and the cultural participation mechanism of national leaders, this paper preliminarily analyzes how South Korea transforms the entertainment industry into a core resource for national image construction, forming an operation mode of "integrating the nation into everyday life".
