Impact of Internet Literature on Students' Aesthetic Education

Abstract

Internet literature is a new development of contemporary literature that integrates the trend of the times after the revolution of information technology. It is loved by a new generation of young people born almost at the same time with it. Although its development has not been very long, it has grown rapidly since steadily expanding readers, and at the same time it has made astonishing progress in the diversification of types of subjects, standardization of rules of creation, and innovation of creation modes, and so on. However, the problems of Internet literature are also quite prominent. The quality of content is far more inferior than superior, the business model is gradually becoming commercialized, and the management and supervision are not strict enough, which makes most people regard Internet literature as "toilet literature", not to mention its educational significance to students. This article focuses on the current development of Internet literature, summarizes its problems and merits, analyzes its development paths and problem-solving measures, eliminates its negative impact on the development of youth aesthetics, and refines its positive values to better promote youth aesthetics in the Z era.
