To vividly illustrate Wong Kar-Wai’s unique visual language, This research will employ his 1995 film “Fallen Angels” as a case study. This cinematic masterpiece serves as an exemplary showcase of Wong Kar-Wai’s unparalleled storytelling prowess and distinctive filmic techniques. The paper aims to conduct a comprehensive examination of Wong Kar-Wai’s cinematic artistry, with a specific emphasis on four key elements: frameskipping, color filtering, the innovative use of fisheye lenses, and the strategic implementation of slow-motion sequences.
