Abstract

As embodied intelligence moves human-machine interaction into physical settings, it is changing how people communicate, keep one another company, and build social ties. At the same time, it produces new forms of communicative alienation. Drawing on Marx's theory of alienation, this paper identifies four main manifestations: the reification of communication media, the technological deconstruction of the communicating subject, the algorithmic distortion of interpersonal emotions, and the instrumentalization of interaction goals. The point is not abstract. These problems grow out of the combined operation of capital, technological, and data logics. From this basis, the paper proposes four responses: rebuilding communicative subjectivity, restoring the value of communication media, protecting the specificity of human emotion from excessive datafication, and fostering a community that supports free communication. Taken together, these arguments offer a theoretical perspective for understanding interpersonal dilemmas in the age of embodied intelligence.
