Abstract

As a typical representative of high-density urban living environments worldwide, it is of certain significance for Hong Kong to study the community planning for creating a green and livable environment in high-density cities. This thesis takes the typical sustainable communities in Hong Kong as a case to explore the design and optimization of green human settlements in high-density cities. This research paper employs methods such as literature research, case analysis, and comparative analysis. Through literature research and case analysis, the study draws on experience to provide methods for the optimization and renovation of high-density communities. The specific strategies include the greening design of Hong Kong communities, the composite utilization of space, and sustainable concepts, etc. By analyzing the optimization strategies for intensive and refined green living environments, we look forward to applying sustainable community design in future.
