A Comparative Study of Internet Buzzwords "X Dazi" and "X You"
Abstract
In the context of the intelligent media era, with the accelerated development of internet technology, various internet buzzwords have emerged one after another. Among them, "X Dazi" spread rapidly upon its appearance and became a strong meme with great vitality. In contrast, "X You", which emerged earlier, has not developed into a strong meme despite certain similarities with "X Dazi". Therefore, in response to this phenomenon, based on the dual perspectives of diachrony and synchrony, this paper conducts an in-depth comparison of "X Dazi" and "X You" in terms of semantic evolution and construction analysis, and speculates on their future evolution trends. On this basis, it further explores the reasons for their popularity and the advantages of "X Dazi" as a strong meme.
